I paint a wide variety of subjects, ranging from ants to elephants, and boots to boats. Experimenting with a huge range of media and techniques, makes for very diverse unique art; but I also incorporate conventional techniques including the use of salt, and cling film, and even using the odd paintbrush or two!

My motto is art should be fun, and does not require formal qualifications to achieve something that inspires people. Although many people say they cannot draw, I believe we all have ideas within us, all it takes is practice, time, and a sense of fun.
Letting go of the fear of tackling larger canvases can lead to exciting results. I once purchased a very large blank canvass with no idea of what subject I intended to paint. It inspired me to produce my favourite piece of work (a larger than life owl) which now adorns my dining room.
